Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta/Buckhead Area

I stayed at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta/Buckhead Area on a recent trip to Atlanta. The location was convenient for getting around Buckhead and nearby areas, which made it easy to run errands and explore the neighborhood. The room was simple but clean, with the basics I needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly and helpful when I had a couple of questions. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it worked well for a short stay. I appreciated having a practical, straightforward place to rest without paying for extras I didn’t need.

Overall I’d say I had minimal issues with this place. Free water and cookies downstairs. Classy and cozy little living space. The only real issues were the out of order bathroom downstairs and the sketchy elevator. Elevator was pretty slow. And coming down, it felt like it would skip a link in a chain or something. Thought it was going to completely fail altogether

Christal the front desk clerk was so nice and tentative! Check in was a little bit rough due to me not checking in on the right date. The property was clean. The housekeepers were on point. They changed our sheets and made our bed daily! They were even eager to come in and clean regardless of us being there. Very sweet ladies in housekeeping. Everything was perfect! I have no complaints.

Great Area,, Lots of Clubs and places to eat. The manager is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice as is the house staff. My only issue is when we moved from 1 room to a free upgraded room, we had a bag of items were missing mostly dirty clothes but also some personal items. We talk to staff and all didnt know. We Are Diamond Wyndham members and got a few free nights here. Again, the staff, especially the manager are friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back but will make sure to keep an eye on our stuff. Oh, the continental breakfast is kinda Sad but their prices are very reasonable so can't complain.

Close to CHOA where we needed to go the next day. Hotel staff were nice. Great AC and very clean room. Breakfast was good enough and we were not hungry. My kids loved the pancakes. Parking lot was well lit. I was worried at 1st by the businesses around it but there was no reason for my concern, it was a non issue. I had plenty of room for my walker. Only negative was the toilet would run a lot and over flowed once but my husband fixed it and cleaned up the water. It was like 1am. So better him than the staff, anyways. The desk was busy but did offer a plunger to see if that was the issue. At least my husband didn’t wake the girls up. Mini fridge worked great. FYI no microwaves so keep that in mind.

Even though I only stayed 1 night. I had an amazing experience here, all thanks to Crystal of course. This was the only hotel that was reasonable and had an infant crib/pack & play for my daughter. The only con is there are only two carts available to transport your luggage to/from your room for the whole hotel, the hotel should invest in purchasing more. Breakfast was included but it would’ve been nice to have some eggs and bacon. Other than that, I would stay here again.

I loved it. I stayed for about a week. Everyday the room was nicely cleaned and the beds were well spread. They changed sheets , towels and made the room fresh everyday.

I chose to stay at this hotel as it was extremely close to somewhere I wanted to visit. I was a bit nervous after seeing some of the low ratings, but I was pleasantly surprised by my stay. The rooms were clean and functional, the parking was adequate, the employees were kind, and the room was quiet, despite the holiday weekend. My sole complaint is the breakfast did not have any good protein options, but when many hotels do not offer any free breakfast at all, I will take what I can get.
